About the role

Wood Assembler We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Wood Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The Wood Assembler is responsible for assembling wood components and finished products according to work orders, drawings, and quality standards while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble wood crates, or other manufactured products according to and interpret work orders, assembly instructions, diagrams, and basic drawings. Measure, cut, drill, sand, fasten, and fit wood components as required. Operate hand tools and power tools safely, including drills, saws, sanders, nail guns, and fastening equipment. Inspect materials and completed assemblies for defects, accuracy, and quality. Make adjustments or corrections to ensure proper fit and finish. Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards and deadlines. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and manufacturing guidelines. Report material shortages, equipment issues, defects, or production problems to the supervisor. Perform other manufacturing and assembly duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Previous manufacturing, woodworking, carpentry, or assembly experience preferred. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Ability to read measurements and follow written and verbal instructions. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required by the position.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Ability to frequently bend, reach, kneel, and use hand tools. Ability to lift/push and pull materials and finished products, typically up to 50 lbs. Ability to work around wood dust, manufacturing equipment, and moderate noise while following required safety procedures.
Work Environment: This position is performed in a manufacturing/woodworking facility. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. EOE, including disability/vets
