About the role
Office & HR CoordinatorWe are looking for a highly organised, approachable and proactive Office & HR Coordinator to join a small, mission-led charity doing incredible work and making a meaningful difference to the lives of others. This is a varied, hands-on role providing administrative, HR and office coordination support. You will work closely with senior colleagues and a small, close-knit team, helping to ensure the organisation operates efficiently and that staff feel supported. You will be compassionate, professional and resilient, with a genuine commitment to supporting a small team and contributing to a meaningful mission. You should be comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds and able to maintain appropriate confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Key responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior colleagues.
Manage calls, emails, correspondence and filing systems.
Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, events and training.
Support diary management, action tracking and preparation of reports and presentations.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, inductions and DBS checks.
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and support absence and leave administration.
Respond to routine HR queries and liaise with external HR advisers.
Coordinate office facilities, contractors, supplies and equipment.
Support health & safety and compliance processes.
Help maintain a welcoming, organised and professional working environment.
About you:
Experience in an administrative, office or coordination role.
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
A flexible, reliable and team-focused approach.
Ideally, some experience of HR administration or employment processes.
Experience within a charity, education, care or other purpose-led organisation would be advantageous.
The role is subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
North London Based | 4:1 split | Open to term time only applicants too
