About the role
The Judge Group is seeking a Second Shift Quality Assurance Supervisor in Knoxville, TN area! Shift starts at 2:30 M-F (occasional Saturday)
Responsibilities:
Direct all QA and sanitation personnel Develop and deliver quality and technical training Assist and develop sanitation and quality programs and procedures Participate in corporate projects to support innovation and cost control Analyze and solve quality related issues Participate in all internal and external audits relative to QAEnsure all operations are in accordance with OSHA regulations Equip and supply quality assurance laboratory Provide technical expertise Maintain master control documents Maintain system for checking and verifying process compliance
Requirements:
Food Science/Food Technologist degree preferred 5+ years of QA supervisory experience preferredSQF & HACCP certified Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with different departments within the organization Creative/analytical problem solving skills and innovative approaches to resolve complex problems Team building skills and experience Microsoft office skills such as Power Point, Project Manager, Excel and Word Demonstrated experience in managing plant sanitation programs
