Overview: Our client is a growing U.S. manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment for data centers and other critical infrastructure. They are looking for a Strategic Account Director to manage and grow relationships with major hyperscalers and colocation providers. This role will suit someone who understands how large data center projects are planned and has a track record of winning complex, multi-site business.
Responsibilities: Own the commercial strategy for a portfolio of hyperscale and colocation accounts. Identify new projects and opportunities across existing and prospective customers. Work with engineering and product teams to develop solutions for customers’ power infrastructure requirements. Build relationships with senior commercial, procurement and technical stakeholders. Lead negotiations on large, multi-year agreements and grow long-term account value.
Qualifications: Experience selling electrical or power infrastructure into hyperscale data centers. A strong record of managing and growing major enterprise accounts. Existing relationships with hyperscaler providers. Confidence leading complex sales cycles and commercial negotiations. Ability to travel approximately 30–50%.
