About the role

Roles and Responsibilities Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment. Perform Cisco switch deployment, configuration, rack-and-stack, and decommissioning activities. Support campus network infrastructure across facility, telecom, and lab environments. Troubleshoot Layer 2 networking issues and operational network problems. Coordinate with vendors for network equipment installation and support. Support network implementation projects and day-to-day operational activities. Assist with network monitoring and troubleshooting using enterprise monitoring tools. Maintain accurate network and deployment documentation. Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to support project delivery. Required Skills & Experience CCNA certification required. 5+ years of experience supporting campus network environments. Strong hands-on experience configuring and deploying Cisco switches. Strong understanding of Layer 2 networking concepts. Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, particularly the 9300 series. Experience with switch deployment, configuration, rack-and-stack, troubleshooting, and decommissioning. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Arista switches, particularly the 7050 series. Experience working in large enterprise network environments. Familiarity with Cacti and SolarWinds Orion. Experience supporting production/operational network environments in addition to project implementations. CCNP or CCIE certification is a plus.
