OhioGuidestone is the state's leader in community behavioral health care, serving around 26,000 Ohioans each year.What we offer:Stable non-profit organization with 160+ year track record!Clear career ladder for development path in various rolesOpportunity to earn monthly $$$ bonus (select clinical/therapist and BHS roles only)Competitive medical benefits including a low-premium medical plan option for employee or employee + children!Free CEU trainings10 paid holidays (some are exchangeable)Flexible work schedules to support work/life balanceFlexible work opportunities to support varying career paths, job roles, intern to hire, and locations401(k) with employer match optionEmployment Assistance Program (EAP)Mileage reimbursementFree licensure supervisionRecognition and rewardsRole: Director of Strategy Location: Berea, OHEssential Functions:Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone every day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.In conjunction with Chief Strategy Officer, facilitate the development of the agency's strategic plan to support the agency's vision and mission.Oversee the execution of annual strategic initiatives; monitor progress, identifying risks and mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and continued alignment with business objectives.Define KPIs to establish measurable objective criteria for evaluating the progress and success of strategic and operating initiatives.Initiate and lead strategic deep dives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, efficiency and effective decision-making.Provide effective leadership to inspire, motivate and guide cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives.Prepare and present reports on strategic initiatives, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership.Analyze business performance metrics and market trends to provide actionable insights.Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in business processes and strategies.Offer consultative guidance, collaborate with key stakeholders to foster buy-in, and drive projects to successful outcomes.Support growth and/or confidential initiatives as requested by Senior and Executive Leadership Teams. This includes opportunity identification, scoping, proposal development and presentation.Create and maintain all project documentation, including status reports, work plans, and presentations.Serve as internal consultant for key business leaders in vetting strategic ideas.Monitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and recommend actions to either mitigate the risks or seize the opportunities.Lead efforts to monitor industry trends and key competitors' strategies and tactics. Identify and evaluate issues that could potentially affect OhioGuidestone's competitive position and financial performance.Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging.Present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.7+ years of experience in strategy development, management consulting, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.Qualifications:Mission driven; strong desire to make an impact.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.Ability to manage complex, large-scale projects and initiatives in a business environment.Effective interpersonal skills; able to speak effectively with individuals and/or groups of people.Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment.Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently.Possess a valid Ohio Driver's License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.At OhioGuidestone, we demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team-based work environment and a culture of belonging.We also care about the health and safety of our employees.
