As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Buyer/Planner to play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations and driving supply chain excellence.
What You'll Do: As a key member of the Materials team, you will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules, ensuring material availability, and optimizing manufacturing performance to meet customer demand.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Manage production schedules and departmental work orders to support the master production plan
  • Analyze capacity, labor, and material requirements to ensure efficient production flow
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain planning data within AS/400 and Microsoft D365 ERP systems
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to support operational goals
  • Evaluate engineering changes, new product introductions, and inventory impacts
  • Expedite materials and production issues while balancing changing priorities
  • Prepare production and inventory reports and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support supplier quality and non-conforming material resolution activities
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of production planning, materials planning, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ERP/MRP experience, preferably AS/400 and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferredAPICS/CPIM certification is a plus
