Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electricianto join our team in North Carolina! You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, equipment, and control systems, as well as training apprentices on the job. If you are aJourneyman Electricianwith a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and pride in your work, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities: Follow all company safety rules, OSHA requirements, and applicable North Carolina electrical codes Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, sketches, and building plans to determine electrical requirements and materials needed Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems Perform electrical installations and repairs in accordance with applicable codes and project specifications Provide bids and estimates for work orders when required Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other industry professionals Train and provide guidance to apprentices and less-experienced electricians Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
Qualifications: Previous experience as an Electrician required; Journeyman-level experience preferred Knowledge of applicable North Carolina electrical codes and regulations Valid Driver’s License Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work for extended periods Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, measurements, and electrical calculations Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical plans Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Professional appearance and courteous personality Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
