Job Description Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities: Assist press brake operators with material handling and positioningSupport punch press operations by loading/unloading materialsStage materials for press brake and punch machine operationsInspect bent parts and punched components for qualityRead and interpret basic blueprints and work ordersVerify bend angles and hole locations using basic measuring toolsRemove and stack completed parts according to specificationsDeburr parts after punching operationsMaintain organized material flow to and from machinesClean and maintain work area around press brakes and punch machinesSort and separate scrap materialsRequired Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentPhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyBasic understanding of measuring tools (tape measure, calipers) Ability to read basic blueprints and work ordersStrong attention to detail for quality inspectionSafety-conscious mindsetReliable attendanceAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsPreferred Qualifications: Previous experience in metal fabricationBasic knowledge of press brake and punch press operationsUnderstanding of sheet metal propertiesExperience with material handling equipmentForklift certificationKnowledge of basic geometric conceptsWork Environment: Manufacturing floor settingRegular exposure to machinery noiseMust wear appropriate PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, ear protection, etc.)May involve working with sharp metal edgesRequires standing, walking, bending throughout shiftMay involve repetitive motionsSchedule: Full-time, typically 40 hours per weekMay include overtime as neededShift work may be requiredSafety Requirements: Strict adherence to machine safety protocolsProper use of PPE at all timesUnderstanding of emergency stop proceduresKnowledge of proper material handling techniques
