About the role
We are seeking a Robotics Engineer to develop, program, integrate, and troubleshoot robotic systems and automated equipment. This hands-on role will support equipment installations, system improvements, and customer projects, ensuring reliable performance and safe operation.
Responsibilities:
Program, configure, and optimize industrial robots and Allen-Bradley PLC systems. Lead equipment setup, testing, calibration, and commissioning of robotic systems, conveyors, sensors, and pneumatic components. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, programming, and process control issues. Validate equipment performance, safety functions, and compliance with customer acceptance requirements. Collaborate with engineering and service teams on automation projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement. Provide on-site and remote technical support, assist with operator training, and maintain accurate programming files, service records, and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
An associate or bachelor’s degree is required in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.3–5 years of hands-on experience in robotics, industrial automation, or controls engineering. Experience programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs and industrial robots, such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or Yaskawa. Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings. Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with customers and technical teams. Flexibility to support occasional weekend or on-call work as needed.
