Summary Of PositionFalvey Insurance Group is one of the largest Marine Insurance MGAs in the country and was founded on the pillars of Technology and Operational Excellence.
The Senior Administrative Assistant performs confidential duties and prioritizes correspondence to allow the executive to focus on decision-making and higher-level responsibilities. The Senior Administrative Assistant serves as a link between the executive, employees, clients, and other external contacts; and contributes to better organization and planning.

Follow ups as neededExpense reports

PhoneReport coordination and preparation
Point of contact for all external contacts
Ensuring executive and company goals are being metThe Senior Administrative Assistant will assist the Executive Administration team on various duties, including:Back up coverage if needed for other team membersPerform other projects or tasks as assigned by Executive and/or Supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesThe candidate must possess excellent organizational, time management, verbal, written communication, and proofreading skills. The candidate must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a team oriented, fast paced office environment. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Adobe, spreadsheet software, and general computer skills is required, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems. The candidate must exercise discretion and independent judgement with respects to matters of significance.
Other RequirementsA college degree and/or a minimum of 3 years of executive administration experience is preferred.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and operate a computer.

Hours Of Operation And Working ConditionsThis position's work hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm, in a business-casual office environment. We currently operate in a hybrid capacity with 3 days in the office, Wednesday and Thursday are required and 2 days at home. This position requires occasional flexibility for working additional hours to accomplish project objectives. Occasional business travel may be required.
