Job Description:
As a Generator Installation Technician at MPE Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have reliable power backup systems in place.
Your responsibilities will include:
Installing, inspecting, and maintaining generators of various sizes and brands.
Collaborating with project managers to ensure timely and accurate installation.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
Conducting load testing and ensuring generators meet performance specifications.
Safely operating hand and power tools to complete installation tasks.always Complying with safety protocols and industry standards.
Keeping detailed records of installation and maintenance work.
Providing excellent customer service and addressing client questions and concerns.
Participating in ongoing training to stay up to date with industry advancements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in electrical systems is a plus.
Certified Generac Generator Installer (preferred):
Proven experience in generator installation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
A commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety protocols.
