The role involves performing various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
Job Details Schedule:
Days, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting from 10/26/2026 through 12/21/2026.
Required Qualifications:
NY state license, minimum of 1 year of experience, and certifications in ACLS and BLS.
Preferred Qualifications:
Epic charting system experience; previous endoscopy or procedural lab experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
Assist in EUS, ERCP, Navigational Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Manometry, Fibroscan, and other specialized procedures; ensure proper handling of special equipment such as ERBE, Olympus scopes/processors, Bravo, VCE, and Manometry; perform phlebotomy and IV placement as mandatory skills; support interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Radiology.
Additional Information:
RN competencies include phlebotomy and IV placement; must be able to work with procedural-based patient diagnoses including pancreatic, lung, colon, gastric cancers, and other conditions; may require floating to Pre An/PACU departments as needed.
Submission Requirements:
Candidates must have a NY license in hand and be located more than 75 miles from the facility. Previous travel experience is preferred but not required; EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
