About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Security Account Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving direct sales and achieving revenue targets within assigned Tier 1 telecommunication service provider accounts. You will directly own customer relationships and strategic pipeline growth, even when transactions are executed through channel partners.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccount Leadership: Manage and control assigned target accounts directly, building high-level, wide-reaching relationships with key decision-makers (CISO / Security Office).Pipeline & Prospecting: Build and maintain a robust pipeline (target 4x quota) through continuous prospecting within new and existing accounts.Consultative Selling: Understand the customer's business drivers and demonstrate how complex network security and DDoS solutions drive business value.Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales Engineering teams to deliver technical validation and ongoing customer success.Execution: Adhere to defined sales methodologies, company booking standards, and revenue recognition guidelines.Qualifications & Requirements8+ years of direct sales experience specializing in Network Security and DDoS mitigation solutions.Proven track record of selling security solutions directly to Tier 1 US Telecommunication Service Providers.Established, existing relationships within the CISO and Security leadership offices of Tier 1 service providers.Demonstrated ability to navigate and close deals with both technical and economic buyers.A quantifiable track record of consistent quota achievement and strategic territory growth.Ability to independently manage large, highly complex enterprise accounts.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Travel: Ability to travel up to 60% (primary travel hubs include New Jersey, Dallas, Atlanta, and Seattle).Physical DemandsRegularly required to talk, hear, and engage in professional meetings.Ability to occasionally lift equipment or sales materials up to 50 lbs.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.Location: New Jersey / Dallas, TX (Remote with Travel)Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary, performance-driven commission plan, and a comprehensive benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, life & disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts).
