Continuously demonstrates a strong work ethic by exhibiting an indisputable drive to get the job done.Results: The product of consistently going above and beyond to deliver exceptional value for the team and the organization.Essential Job Functions of the Senior Construction Project Manager:Oversight of construction projects under their supervisionCompile conceptual budgets/competitive bidsCoordinate with building architect / MEP for preparation of contract documentsManage the bidding and award of process for all assigned projectsInitiate and secure Senior Management approval of construction expendituresCoordinate and assist retail and office tenants with space plan and construction document preparationsSubstantial completion walk-throughsCoordination with tenant's contractor(s) and /or tenant to ensure timely possession of space by tenantProcess tenant and vendor invoicesContract enforcement and project close outCoordinate with A&E team for RFI and Submittal review and action as requiredCash Flow Forecasting and draw reviews for base building projects with Accounting and LendersRequired Experience / Education / Certifications of the Senior Construction Project Manager:5-8 years project management experience working for a general contractor or owners representative with emphasis on retail and office tenant improvements4-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent work experienceCCM (Certified Construction Manager) and LEED AP would be a plusOther Qualifications of the Senior Construction Project Manager:Effective verbal and written communication skillsProactive planning and organization skillsAbility to effectively react to and manage unforeseen schedules and situationsAbility to use rational resources to solve problems and make decisionsAbility to meet deadlines and is self-directed, thorough and responsibleAdvanced skills in Word, proficient in Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Project and BlubeamCore Job Competencies of the Senior Construction Project Manager:Leadership: Employee uses appropriate interpersonal skills and proven motivational methods to guide and help individuals or groups and gain their commitments to ideas, plans, or courses of action.Problem solving: Having the ability to identify problems and issues of varying complexities and to find effective solutions with few guidelines.Tenacity: The ability to stay focused and on task when faced with obstacles until the desired objectives are achieved or are no longer reasonably attainable.Collaboration: Develops cooperation and teamwork while participating in a group, working toward solutions which generally benefit all parties. Property locations to include VA, MD, DC, DE, NJ$125,000 - $150,000 a yearThe actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of B. F. Saul Company & Affiliates total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.B.
