Overview:
Under direct supervision, the Aircraft Component Technician assists aircraft maintenance personnel in the performance of aviation maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
Reads and interprets maintenance manuals and required technical data to remove clean, process, and repair aircraft components Performs miscellaneous duties to support aircraft maintenance personnel performing maintenance tasks Must have a mechanical aptitude; mechanical experience is preferred Must have the ability to properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment Ability to comply with safety rules and procedures. Use protective equipment as required and be alert for unsafe conditions Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must have computer literacy This is an entry level position which requires extensive on the job training
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

None Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
