About the role

Sales Support Specialist / Receptionist A well-established manufacturing company in Thomasville is seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Sales Support Specialist / Receptionist. This position combines sales and administrative support with front-desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing reports, purchase orders, customer information, and ongoing sales projects while also answering incoming calls and welcoming visitors. This is a highly visible role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional, friendly demeanor. Sales and Administrative Support Update the internal Master Status Report daily Complete, mail, track, and document Second Stage MSOs for fleet customers Prepare weekly customer status reports Provide chassis check-in information as needed Maintain and distribute sales and quoting reports Coordinate sales purchase orders, revisions, and change orders Communicate order information between the sales and operations teams Monitor and respond to emails promptly Support and track lead-development activities Create and maintain customer photo books Maintain inventory of electronics used by the sales team Develop and maintain job-scope documentation within the ERP system Work closely with transportation and other administrative departments Assist with customer-related projects and other duties as assigned Reception and Front-Office Support Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner Greet customers, vendors, applicants, and other visitors Assist applicants according to established HR procedures Maintain an organized reception area, conference room, and common areas Receive and sort incoming mail Coordinate outgoing mail pickup Provide excellent customer service to everyone who calls or visits the office
Qualifications:
  • Previous administrative, sales support, or inside sales experience
  • Experience working with customers and supporting customer-related projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeStrong overall computer skills
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to take initiative
