Fire Sprinkler Protection Purchaser

What You'll Do: Manage purchasing activities for materials, parts, and inventory supporting warehouse operations. Maintain purchasing and inventory tracking spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure timely procurement and delivery. Monitor inventory levels and support physical inventory and cycle count processes. Utilize SAGE software to manage purchasing activities and maintain accurate records. Assist with process improvements and contribute to warehouse operations as needed. Support a high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications: Required 5+ years of purchasing experience in a high-volume warehouse, distribution, or related environment. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, tracking tools, and reporting. Experience using SAGE software. Knowledge of inventory control, physical inventory, and cycle counting processes. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Preferred Experience within the MEP, construction, service, or facilities maintenance industries. Service Trade experience (training available for the right candidate).Proven ability to identify process improvements and think creatively to solve challenges.
