Job Opportunity: Senior Commissioning Manager Join one of the world's largest photovoltaic utility system developers as a Commissioning Manager in Remote, FL. Be at the forefront of renewable energy projects, ensuring the successful commissioning and compliance of utility-scale solar systems. This role offers a dynamic work environment with occasional travel to project sites across the United States.
Key Responsibilities: Lead commissioning activities from mechanical completion through startup and testing. Coordinate with EPCs, OEMs, testing vendors, and SCADA integrators. Ensure compliance with safety, design, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Conduct performance analytics of PV power plant systems. Prepare projects for PPA, GIA, and ISO testing. Support IT & SCADA Teams with functional checks. Manage test energy forecasts and AVR/AGC notifications.
Requirements: Engineering degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility solar power systems. Knowledge of utility-scale photovoltaic construction and commissioning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office / 365.Valid driver's license. Preferences: Professional or graduate-level academic experience in utility PV systems. Prior experience with SCADA systems of industrial plants/processes.1-3 years of experience with electrical grid participants.
