Valet Attendant Supr The Valet Attendant Supr supervises the day-to-day operations of the valet service ensuring that it runs in a safe and efficient manner. The Valet Attendant Supr provides personal vehicle parking and retrieval services for the parking guests while offering exceptional customer service in a high energy environment. This position maintains expected personal appearance standards. The Valet Attendant Supr performs all maintenance and cleaning tasks necessary to maintain the parking areas in patient/visitor-ready state. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: Possess/maintain a valid, non-restricted driver's license with a neutral or positive driver point balance. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: Valid Virginia Driver's License and acceptable driver's record with positive points.
Experience REQUIRED: Must be able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Previous supervisory experience. Previous experience using a computer and using Microsoft Office application and e-mail/calendaring.
Experience PREFERRED: Previous professional driving experience. Prior valet experience. Education/training REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent. Education/training PREFERRED: Post High School coursework. Second language. Independent action(s) required: Must be able to work independently within established guidelines. Must be able to multi task and follow directions.
Supervisory responsibilities: (if applicable): Supervises the day-to-day operations of the assigned valet staff, ensuring the valet operation assigned runs in a safe and efficient manner. Additional position requirements: Required to work during inclement weather with day and evening rotations. May be required to work some weekends for special events. Age Specific groups served: All.
Physical Requirements: (includes use of assistance devices as appropriate): Physical Lifting 20-50 lbs. Activities: Prolonged standing, Prolonged sitting, Frequent bending, Walking (distance), Climbing (steps, ladder, other), Reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive), Repetitive motion: Enter & Exit Vehicles. Mental/Sensory: Strong recall, Reasoning, Problem solving, Hearing, Speak clearly, Write legibly, Reading, Logical thinking. Emotional: Fast pace environment, Steady pace, Able to handle multiple priorities, Frequent and intense customer interactions, Noisy environment. Able to adapt to frequent change.
Compensation Range: $17.00 - $24.12. Actual salary offers will be based on several key factors to include relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications. EEO Employer/Disabled/Protected Veteran.
