Job Descriptionđ What Youâll DoWant a job where you actually make a difference? As a BrightBee front office manager, youâll support local schools âsupporting visitors, parents, and community members as directed by each school site. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is. BrightBee recruits candidates (that's you!) to support local schools and nonprofits. You will use our BrightBee app to claim assignments at schools/non-profits in your area and get paid a week later. Our goal is simple: help schools succeed and give workers the tools they need to grow in their careers.đ
Consistent Work at Uncommon Schools!5 days per week Full school day shifts (7a-4p) School site/address: 6565 Flatlands Ave, 3rd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11236 (this is where we expect the most immediate need) There likely will be work available at the following sites/addresses as well:1485 Pacific St, Brooklyn, NY 11216832 Marcy Ave, 4th Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11216999 Jamaica Ave, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11208đŻ What Youâll Be Doing in Brooklyn HiveWhat is a "Hive?"A hive is a geographical region of multiple school districts and sites that you (as a Bee) will be able to claim assignments at. These assignments could be as short as a single day or as long as multiple week/months. You should be willing/able to commute to various school sites in the Brooklyn area to be considered.

Follow safety and reporting guidelinesPLEASE NOTE: Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. New York clearance processđ Good to KnowBrightBee centers child safety at the core of its work. Applicants must undergo a background check, adhere to a code of conduct, and comply with all mandated reporter training and reporting requirements
Prior to working with students, you will need to undergo a background check, livescan and may need to obtain other necessary testing/clearances and provide us with authorization to contact former employers.. Rest assured, we will guide you through the process!
Please note, assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
