About the role
Seeking compassionate individuals, the part-time Massachusetts Crisis Line Associate will provide emotional support and crisis intervention to callers during overnight shifts from Thursday to Sunday, 11 PM to 5 AM ET, in a remote capacity while adhering to established protocols.
Key responsibilities
Answer incoming crisis and emotional support calls from individuals in need
Provide compassionate, non-judgmental listening and emotional support
Accurately document call interactions in the organization's call management system
Required qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED required
Massachusetts resident required
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple software platforms
