As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking an SVP/EVP, Growth & Strategic Insights to expand our market presence, deepen executive relationships, and help shape the future of the firm.
The Opportunity: This is a senior seller-doer leadership role responsible for both revenue growth and client impact. The successful candidate has at least 10 years of experience on the supplier side in market research or consumer insights and brings an established network of senior decision-makers across Technology, Media, Telecommunications and Gaming with a demonstrated ability to convert relationships into meaningful business opportunities. This executive will play a key role in:●      Driving new business and strategic account growth●      Serving as a trusted advisor to senior client leaders●      Building and leading high-performing consulting and insights teams●      Shaping GBK’s capabilities, offerings, and long-term growth strategy●      Representing GBK in the marketplace through thought leadership and industry presence This role offers the opportunity to build a significant part of the organization while helping define GBK’s future direction.
Key Responsibilities: Revenue Growth & Client Development●      Generate new business opportunities through existing executive relationships and market visibility●      Expand strategic client accounts and drive new logo acquisition●      Lead proposals, executive presentations, and commercial negotiations●      Build partnerships that create new growth opportunities●      Serve as a visible ambassador for GBK in the marketplace Strategic Client Leadership●      Develop trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders●      Help clients address growth, innovation, product, and marketing challenges●      Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and expand GBK’s impact●      Serve as executive sponsor for key client engagements Team & Practice Leadership●      Recruit, develop, & lead high-performing consulting, strategy, and insights teams●      Ensure delivery excellence across major client engagements●      Help shape organizational structure, talent strategy, and future capabilities●      Drive operational effectiveness, scalability, and profitability Firm Leadership●      Contribute to firm strategy and long-term growth planning●      Help develop new capabilities, offerings, and market opportunities●      Support thought leadership initiatives that elevate GBK’s brand and reputation
Required Qualifications: Commercial Leadership●      Established network of senior executives within Technology, Media, Telecommunications and Gaming●      Proven track record generating and closing new business opportunities through executive relationships●      Strong credibility within strategy, insights, analytics, consulting, or marketing ecosystems●      Demonstrated success driving significant revenue growth Candidates without an existing executive network in TMT and/or Gaming are unlikely to be successful in this role. Strategy & Consulting Expertise●      10+ years in strategy consulting, market research, analytics, customer insights, or related advisory fields●      Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on complex business challenges●      Ability to connect insights and analytics to strategic business outcomes Leadership Experience●      Proven experience building and scaling high-performing teams●      Strong talent development and organizational leadership capabilities●      Experience balancing growth objectives with delivery excellence Success Measures Success will be measured by:●      New business opportunities generated●      Revenue growth and new client acquisition●      Strategic account expansion●      Team growth and capability development●      Client satisfaction and retention●      Contribution to GBK’s long-term growth strategy What Makes Someone Successful at GBKSuccessful leaders at GBK are commercially driven, intellectually curious, collaborative, and entrepreneurial. Title and Compensation Title and compensation will be commensurate with experience, business development and revenue-generation track record, and the strength of existing executive relationships.
