About the role

The position will support the JIB Accounting team part-time in Downtown Houston.
Essential Job Responsibilities: Helps to prepare manual journal entries for recurring expenses incurred by team Helps to calculate payouts for wells Helps to analyze and process non-operated JIBsWorks with JIB accountants on special projects Handle special projects, as assigned Proficient in anticipating matters at hand and initiating action without requiring direction or supervision Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation Supports company vision and mission
Other Job Responsibilities: Assists with overflow work Maintains employee confidence and protects operations, by keeping information confidential Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision Excellent written and verbal communications skills Excellent organizational skills Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
Required: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point)
Education Requirements
Required: Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: None.
