The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading the comprehensive commercial strategy, from product launch to lifecycle management, with a strong focus on patient-centered, seamless go-to-market approaches. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in commercial leadership within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries, particularly in the rare disease space. The SVP will be instrumental in building and leading a high-performing commercial organization, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration. Key responsibilities include setting a compelling vision for sales, account management, and marketing, and ensuring the effective engagement of key stakeholders. The role also requires a deep understanding of the rare disease landscape, treatment paradigms, and the challenges of gene therapy commercialization. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of progressive commercial leadership experience, with a preference for those holding an advanced degree such as an MBA or scientific Ph.D. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rare disease commercialization, particularly within neurology or gene therapy, and a proven ability to operate in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
