ABOUT THE POSITION: The Program Officer serves as a key manager of grantee relationships assigned to multiple client foundations. The Program Officer performs due diligence on applicant organizations and participates in grantmaking planning, strategy, and evaluation relating to a variety of funding areas, with a majority focus on environmental grantmaking. This role will dedicate approximately 50% time to overseeing the Watershed Restoration Program at the Bella Vista Foundation, which focuses on the restoration and revitalization of key watershed ecosystems within specific geographic areas in California and Oregon and approximately 40% of their time across other grantmaking focus areas including, but limited to, environmental programs.
