Santa Barbara Position Summary:
As a Wholesale Sales Manager, you are focused on maintaining the operation of the local sales team and in this position, you will be charged with coordinating with the staff the overall efficient and effective order completion process as well as all aspects of customer service. The role will run a high performance workforce by addressing employee’s needs, training and help with job coaching as needed. The position will also brainstorm with the team to improve on how our business performs by highlighting areas for improvement and gaps in service to our customers, both internal and external. The Sales Manager is responsible for attending trade shows throughout the year to promote our products to potential and existing customers. A successful candidate will comprehend the customer base and correlate efforts to target what drives the customer to purchase and how to capitalize in that effort. Over time, this role will be a key member of our business model. The essential job functions include, but not limited to the following: Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Provide direct coaching for sales associates dealing with customer inquires· Coordinate efforts to target specific sales processes to increase sales· Assess the strengths and opportunities of the sales staff and manage accordingly· Maintain relationships with our larger customers· Attend trade shows to promote new and existing products to potential and existing customers· Achieve growth and making sales targets by monitoring metrics to coach for success The ideal candidate is focused and has a demonstrated work ethic that includes:· Ability to meet goals in an environment with freedom of direction: a self-starter.· MAS90 or Sage Experience, or related and similar program· Able to travel· Able to communicate service rationale and build consensus.· A self-starting learner who thrives under pressure and enjoys success.· An excellent communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.· Dedicated to individual and team development, scheduled tasks, and consumer products.· Flexible in a dynamically growing and evolving company.· Create tools (spreadsheets) to make reports and organize your work. Requirements
Education:
A high school diploma, or GED required; Bachelors degree in business, or related field preferred
Experience: Two to three years of equivalent on the job experience
