Benmar Group is seeking an experienced Category / Commodity / Strategic sourcing professional with institutional food sourcing experience for a large University System based in California. Qualifications / Requirements: Food strategic sourcing experience Strong knowledge of food categories and food products Developing food category strategies and sourcing plans Experience with major food distributors such as Sysco, US Foods, PFG, or similar Food distributor pricing, distribution models, products, and equipment knowledge Experience with sustainable food sourcing programs — USDA Organic, Fair Trade, Certified Grassfed, Seafood Watch, etc.
