About the role
This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month.Please note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.Responsibilities:Develop and manage project and workstream plans, ensuring activities are properly scoped, resourced, and aligned with project objectives and governance standards.Lead project delivery through requirements gathering, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and execution of agreed deliverables.Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, implementing mitigation plans as needed.Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business and process requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Lead medium to large project teams, providing direction, coaching, and support to achieve project goals.Oversee project quality assurance reviews and address findings to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.Drive process improvements and innovation initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.Manage project budgets, resource allocation, forecasting, and variance reporting.Track and measure business benefits, ensuring outcomes are realized and optimized.Lead project governance activities, including status reporting, reviews, change management, and project closeout.Serve as a subject matter expert, maintaining knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.Skills:3-5+ years of project management experience, or equivalent experience leading cross-functional teams, initiatives, or business programs.Proven ability to lead projects using hybrid delivery methodologies, including both Agile and Waterfall approaches.Advanced project and program management experience with a proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.Demonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, scope changes, dependencies, and quality assurance activities.Experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and technical requirements.Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to analyze data, develop actionable insights, and support informed decision-making.Experience leading cross-functional teams, building team capability, and driving collaboration.Knowledge of project governance, benefits realization, vendor management, and continuous improvement practices.Skilled in testing, user acceptance activities, and solution performance evaluation.Ability to work independently while providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to others.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Smartsheet and TFS (Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps).Experience leading medium to large, cross-functional projects in complex organizational environments.Strong leadership presence and a proactive mindset.Positive attitude, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to build trust quickly.Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving alignment, and influencing without direct authority.Effective communicator who can engage diverse stakeholders and foster a collaborative team culture.
