About the role

Job Description
Outside Sales Representative:
  • Boise, IdahoYou're Already a Closer. We're Offering You a Different Product to Sell.
  • Offer Now Idaho is looking for someone who has already proven they can walk into a customer's home, establish credibility, navigate a significant financial decision, and earn a signed agreement.
  • If you've succeeded in roofing, HVAC, windows, remodeling, solar, automotive, or another face-to-face selling environment, those skills can translate extremely well to what we do.
  • Instead of convincing a homeowner to purchase something, you'll be discussing whether we should purchase something from them: their house.
  • That's an entirely different product, but many of the skills required to succeed are the same.
  • We can teach you our business. You should already know how to close.
  • From Conversation to Contract
  • You'll sit down with property owners who are exploring a possible sale.
  • From there, you need to understand what's actually happening.
  • Why are they thinking about selling?
  • What would an ideal outcome look like?
  • What concerns do they have?
  • What needs to happen before they're comfortable making a decision?
  • Your responsibility is to uncover those answers and determine whether there's a transaction that makes sense.
  • When there is, you'll work through the details and ask the homeowner to move forward.
  • That requires curiosity, confidence, patience, negotiation ability, and good judgment.
  • Your Previous Industry Isn't the Important PartWe're particularly interested in people who have experience selling inside customers' homes.
  • If you've previously sold a roof, remodel, HVAC system, replacement windows, solar installation, vehicle, or another substantial purchase, you understand the dynamics we're looking for.
  • You've probably learned that the first objection isn't always the real objection.
  • You've learned that two customers can receive the same information and react completely differently.
  • You've learned how important follow-through is.
  • Most importantly, you've learned that a good conversation doesn't automatically become a sale.
  • At some point, somebody has to ask for a decision.
  • That's the skill we're hiring.
  • Once It's Yours, Own ItYou'll be trusted to manage the opportunities placed in front of you.
  • That means preparing before meetings, traveling to properties, understanding each owner's circumstances, determining whether we can create a workable solution, negotiating the details, and staying connected when additional conversations are necessary.
  • You'll also need to keep your information organized and know exactly where your active opportunities stand.
  • We have processes and people to support you.
  • But we don't want someone who needs to be chased down to do the fundamentals of their job.
  • What You Can EarnYour pay includes a guaranteed component plus additional compensation generated by your results.
  • There is no predetermined ceiling on those production earnings.
  • New team members can also earn an additional $20K for reaching an accelerated initial production target.
  • The better you become at converting conversations into completed business, the greater your earning opportunity becomes.
  • A Different Side of Residential Real EstateThis isn't a Realtor position.
  • You're not building a personal brand to attract listings, representing sellers, hosting open houses, or building a traditional agent business.
  • You'll be working for a company that acquires residential properties directly from their owners.
  • That puts you on the buying side of the conversation.
  • We'll show you how we analyze opportunities, evaluate properties, and determine what we're able to offer.
  • Your job is to become exceptional at communicating that solution and earning the agreement.
  • Before You ApplyThink about a difficult customer you've successfully closed.
  • Maybe they were skeptical.
  • Maybe another company was competing for the business.
  • Maybe price became an issue.
  • Maybe they told you they needed to "think about it."Whatever happened, you found a way to keep the conversation productive and eventually earn the sale.
  • That's the experience we're interested in.
  • You'll need to be located close enough to Boise to regularly travel to residential meetings throughout the surrounding area.
  • If that describes your background, we'd like to hear from you.
Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 OTE
Responsibilities:
  • Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying your prospective customers quickly and thoroughly
  • Position us as the clear and obvious choice in our market through competitive analysis and product trends
  • Identify and pursue sales leads and prospective new clients, and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to the close stages
  • Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution to your prospects
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue expectations and meet sales and lead-generating activities goals to ensure future business
Qualifications:
  • Candidates must be located within a daily commuting distance of Boise, ID. No relocation package is offered at this time 2 years of outside sales experience or related marketing experience

  • Ability to meet and exceed the monthly quota in sales
  • High school or equivalent diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
