Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Maryland
Previous experience providing therapy in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
Knowledge of early childhood development and therapeutic interventions for young children
Strong communication and organization skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families
Ability to maintain accurate records and contribute to individualized treatment plans
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to infants and toddlers as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Assess students motor needs and develop goal-focused intervention plans targeting functional mobility, strength, and independence
Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each childs progress and ensure access to educational opportunities
Document all evaluations, interventions, and progress notes according to district and compliance guidelines
Participate in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) meetings and provide input into goal development and implementation
Utilize evidence-based practices and maintain ongoing professional growth in pediatric physical therapy
