Schedule: Monday - Thursday 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM - 2:30 AM Keep It Running, Keep It Rolling. Maintenance Technician Needed. We're in search of a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience working in high-volume, industrial manufacturing operations and skilled in the installation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and fixtures. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the team that keeps production up and running in this climate-controlled facility!
Job Duties: Operate and maintain a safe maintenance program Troubleshoot machine issues and make repairs/modifications Diagnose and repair machine issues and make modifications related to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic PLC systems Work collaboratively with production operations, engineering, maintenance team, and outside vendors as required to perform repairs or improvements to equipment Create and maintain standard work documents and process machine programs for maintenance Ensure proper functioning of equipment by performing routine maintenance and daily inspections Maintain spare parts inventory in partnership with leadership and Supply Chain
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent GED required Certificate or Technical degree in a related industrial maintenance field preferred Experience Requirements Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices. Minimum of 5 years working as a Maintenance Technician installing, troubleshooting & repairing manufacturing equipment and fixtures in a high-volume industrial manufacturing operation Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and servos, relays, communications networks, touchscreens, pushbuttons and robotics Familiar with PLCs to include Allen Bradley systems Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics Excellent diagnostic, organization, and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred. Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician. Understanding of metal material properties preferred Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift. Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures. Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment. Steel-toed shoes are required on the production floor Benefitsvary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
