Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting the delivery of emergency, OB/GYN, and primary care services through direct and indirect patient care activities. Assists Registered Nurses and physicians with patient assessments, vital signs, IV administration, EKGs, medication management, and care coordination. Maintains medical equipment and supplies, ensures accurate documentation, and contributes to efficient clinical operations while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures.
Obtain, record, and communicate patient vital signs, health histories, and other relevant information.
Perform diagnostic support activities, including EKGs, specimen collection, and other approved procedures.
Assist with IV-related procedures and medication administration within scope of practice.
Monitor patient status and promptly report changes or concerns to the appropriate clinician.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
Prepare, clean, stock, and organize patient care areas, equipment, and medical supplies.
Adhere to infection prevention, safety, regulatory, and organizational policies while providing excellent patient service.
Qualifications:
High School Degree or Equivalent (Required) Tennessee LPN License (Required)1 Year of Nursing Experience (Preferred)
