About the role

Bus Aide Bus aides work on buses which are used to serve students with special needs and transport students across school districts. The route is determined by the needs of the students and school districts. The students are delivered to multiple locations. Due to the nature of the students to be transported, the bus run must be flexible. Students may be added or deleted daily causing the run to require adjustments on short notice. In between the morning and afternoon runs, the bus aide will go into an assigned school to work as an aide in one or more special education classrooms.
