Pay: $140,000 to $180,000 per year Lead infection prevention strategy across hospitals, ambulatory sites, and post-acute care, with direct influence on quality, safety, and executive decisions. Must-Haves Master's degree in Nursing, Epidemiology, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field 10+ years in infection prevention, epidemiology, or quality leadership 5+ years of director-level or system-level leadership Certification in Infection Control (CIC) Proven success leading infection prevention across a multi-hospital system Experience working with public health agencies Track record of sustaining system-wide improvement initiatives
What You'll Do: Build and lead a system-wide infection prevention strategy Advise executives and clinical leaders on emerging infectious threats and trends Ensure compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission, and NHSN Oversee regulatory surveys, tracers, audits, and unannounced visits Strengthen antimicrobial stewardship using surveillance data and antibiograms Reduce healthcare-associated conditions with Quality, Risk, and Patient Safety Lead outbreak response as the escalation authority for complex issues Integrate infection prevention with quality, safety, and enterprise risk governance Lead, mentor, and develop infection prevention leaders and staff Communicate performance and financial impact to executive leadership Nice-to-Haves Doctorate in Epidemiology, Public Health, or Nursing APIC or SHEA fellowship or CPH certification NHSN reporting and EHR-based surveillance experience Epic Bugsy, Thera Doc, Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Strong data analysis and visualization skills
Compensation and Benefits: $140,000 to $180,000 per year Hybrid schedule
