About the role
- Deliver fun and educational content during scripted programs.
- Adhere to given dialogue and communication
- Facilitate Touch Exhibit experiences
- Participate in aquarium educational messaging and guest engagement programs, including animal encounters, guided tours, and after-hours events.
- Confidently handle animals in compliance with AZA standards and state safety regulations.
- Set up and breakdown equipment and activities; ensure touch exhibits operate smoothly, including monitoring animal and guest safety throughout the day
- Be able to handle cash and adhere to proper PCI standards
- Support Adventure Aquarium's overall guest experience through excellent guest service and provide operational support as needed
- Assist the Guest Experience department with other duties as needed

- Successful completion of pre-employment background check
- Allergies related to animals or plants, which might interfere with ability to work, must be controlled by medications or protective equipment.
- Ability to remain on feet for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend and stoop, walk long distances
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
