We are an innovative scale-up company delivering cutting-edge solutions for water network management, proactive leak monitoring, and critical infrastructure sustainability. AQS is expanding in the U.S. and looking for a high-energy, driven Regional Sales Manager to spearhead our growth across the western United States. The western U.S. faces critical supply and infrastructure challenges, and AQS is uniquely positioned to lead the market with state-of-the-art leak detection intelligence.
The Opportunity: We are seeking a "Hunter" to build and expand our footprint across public and private water utilities in a newly defined territory. You must be equally comfortable presenting strategy in executive boardrooms and getting hands-on in the field to execute technical demonstrations and drive successful customer pilots. Target Region: Candidates must reside in one of the following states: California, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, or Washington.
Key Responsibilities: Drive Sales: Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities with public and private water utilities. Manage and optimize sales channels, leading end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation through deal closure. Partner Management: Enable and scale local distribution partners through hands-on engagement, joint field visits, and technical training for partner sales teams. Technical Pilots: Coordinate, set up, and evaluate on-site Leak Detection Pilots to prove ROI and guarantee successful outcomes for prospective utility clients. Field Representation: Act as the face of AQS at regional water industry conferences, trade shows, and utility association events. Mobility: Travel >50% across the region for client meetings, site visits, and field deployments.
Requirements: (Must-Have):Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years of direct sales experience in the Water Utility sector. IoT & Digital Expertise: Proven track record selling IoT hardware, SaaS/digital solutions, smart metering, or AMI/AMR infrastructure to utilities. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related technical field preferred. Hands-on Mindset: Proactive self-starter skilled at running technical product demonstrations and navigating complex public procurement cycles. Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills. Mobility: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
