About the role
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) DriverD-POM, LLC is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and professional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, treatment centers, adult day programs, community-based services, and other approved destinations. The NEMT Driver plays a vital role in ensuring clients receive timely and dependable transportation while maintaining the highest standards of safety, customer service, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely transport clients to and from scheduled destinations. Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles. Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices using approved procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain transportation logs, trip sheets, and mileage records. Provide respectful and professional customer service. Comply with HIPAA, company policies, and transportation regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Valid driver license with clean driving record. Minimum age 21.Ability to pass background and drug screening. CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain. Ability to operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles (when applicable).
Physical Requirements:
