About the role
To support a growing Client Accounting and Advisory Services department, the full-time remote Minnesota Licensed Staff Accountant will assist clients with internal accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial statement preparation.
Key responsibilities
Manage daily transaction accounting activities, including reconciliations, inventory management, and payroll processing
Prepare complex sales and use tax returns while ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
Communicate effectively with clients to explain transactions and identify potential issues regarding their accounts
Required qualifications
Associate's Degree in Accounting
2+ years of related experience in accounting
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of GAAP and general ledger management, including reconciliations and month-end/year-end close procedures
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate client and team meetings
