About the role

Bowie State University is seeking a Director of Information Security to lead a university-wide program, reporting to the CIO. The role supervises the ISO and Information Assurance Specialists and drives risk reduction across academic, research and admin functions. Candidates should have a CISSP and 10+ years of leadership in cybersecurity, with experience in cloud security, audits, and regulatory compliance within large organizations, preferably higher education.
