What You'll Be Doing:
Support site environmental compliance across air, mining, water and wider environmental requirements, including permitting, regulatory reporting, recordkeeping and environmental monitoring. Coordinate air compliance activities including CEMS/COMS monitoring, stack testing, visual emissions observations and environmental control systems, helping maintain compliance with Title V permits and regulatory requirements. Manage environmental activities across mining and reclamation, drinking water, waste, TRI, Tier II and SPCC requirements, while supporting permit applications and renewals. Build effective relationships with Clark County, Nevada State and Federal environmental agencies, coordinating inspections and supporting investigations and root-cause analysis following spills, equipment malfunctions, unplanned discharges or excess emissions.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum 1-3 years of experience within an industrial environment, with experience in mining or a related industry particularly valuable. Practical environmental experience across areas such as air permitting, emissions monitoring, regulatory reporting, mining/reclamation or water compliance. A BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Natural Science or another related technical discipline, and/or equivalent relevant experience. Strong communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively with operational teams, management, consultants, regulators and inspectors.
