About the role
- Maintain safety as the highest priority in all work activities.
- Develop and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Plant 3D.Prepare engineering documentation including: P&IDsPlot plans
- Civil and structural drawings
- Piping plans and sections
- Isometric drawings
- Tank and vessel drawings
- Conduct site visits and field data collection to support project development, field verification, and as-built documentation.
- Assist with FARO laser scanning activities and process scan data using FARO Scene software.
- Prepare material take-offs for project estimating and procurement.
- Maintain facility master drawings and engineering records.
- Assign and track line numbers, valve numbers, and drawing numbers according to company procedures.
- Review drawings and models for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
- Support project teams during design reviews, Management of Change (MOC) activities, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).Assist engineers and senior designers with project development, equipment layouts, RFIs, and contractor support.
- Coordinate drawing information with internal teams and third-party engineering firms.
- Update drawings to reflect as-built conditions using verified field data.
- Participate in training opportunities and continuously develop technical and drafting skills. Support departmental objectives and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- RequiredHigh school diploma or GED1-5 years of applicable experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to successfully complete a motor vehicle record check, drug screening, and background check.
