About the role

Coming to Downtown Miami this winter, Maze Lounge brings an unparalleled combination of premier nightlife-driven hospitality, elevated cocktail programming, entertainment, and cuisine. Maze Lounge is looking for a seasoned VIP Manager with the following experience and skills: 3 years of experience as a VIP Manager or Door Manager working in upscale and high-volume nightclubs Additional experience working in upscale restaurants, bars, hotels and/or events Proven record of success generating revenue via table sales or private rooms sales Proven record of success reaching sales targets Access to a wide and highly qualified local and international clientele database Experience supporting different marketing channels (public relations, social media, events promotion) Experience selecting guests at the door Experience in conflict resolution Experience directing reception and security teams Experience managing people based on fundamentals of labor laws and motivational leadership Tech savviness to be able to operate different technology platforms Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably, working knowledge of Spanish What we offerBase salary plus performance-based bonus Health insurance Paid time off Onsite parking Job requirementsMust be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shifts Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry objects as necessary Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment, in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights, sun, rain and dust Follow us on Instagram @maze.miami to find out more: https://www.instagram.com/maze.miami/
