The Opportunity:
Join an established company in the advertising services industry, delivering compelling media experiences through airport advertising and digital infrastructure. As Project Manager, you will lead airport capital improvement and advertising infrastructure projects from initial site surveys through commissioning and closeout. This role offers the opportunity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-impact projects across active airport environments.
Responsibilities:
Manage airport capital projects from site surveys and scope development through design, permitting, construction, installation, commissioning, and closeout. Develop and oversee project scopes, schedules, budgets, bid packages, and field implementation plans. Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, airport departments, and local certified vendors. Manage airport access and compliance logistics, including permits, badging, escorts, restricted work hours, and safety protocols. Inspect project sites and monitor construction quality, schedule progress, and budget performance. Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, proposals, invoices, change orders, and payment applications. Oversee equipment delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, and warranty handoffs. Maintain project records, report status to leadership, and escalate significant risks, delays, and cost exposures. Must-
Have Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, project management, business, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered. Seven to ten years of progressively responsible experience in construction, engineering, capital development, project management, or technology installation. Direct experience managing construction or technology installations in active commercial airports or government facilities. Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar, multi-site capital projects from planning through commissioning and closeout. Experience managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, bid packages, and multidisciplinary contractor teams. Strong written, verbal, listening, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, resolve issues, and travel frequently to airports and project sites.
Nice-to-Have
Skills:
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE), or registered architect credential. Experience with airport advertising concessions, out-of-home media, digital displays, fabrication, and technology integration. Familiarity with airport RFPs, concession transitions, terminal renovations, and ACDBE/DBE participation requirements. Experience providing functional guidance to project managers and field crews.
