JOB SUMMARY:
The Molecular Genetic Technologist II conducts high-complexity molecular tests in the diagnosis and treatment of genetic diseases while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform clinical testing following CAP, NY, and CLIA regulations. Troubleshoot assay performance andmaintainlaboratory equipment. Conduct quality control (QC) checks and report deviations promptly. Manage laboratory stock levels and replenish supplies. Assistin training new employees asrequired. Execute other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline or medical technology.2-4 years of relevantexperienceORMaster’s degree with 0-2 years relevant experience PreferredMB(ASCP) or MT(ASCP)
