The Stockroom Clerk receives, inspects, and stores materials and components used in PCB manufacturing while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production through timely and precise kitting and material issuance. This role ensures that stockroom items are organized, clearly labeled, and easily traceable, enabling efficient production operations and minimizing inventory discrepancies.
Responsibilities: Receive incoming PCB manufacturing materials and components, inspect them for accuracy and quality, and store them in designated locations. Maintain accurate inventory records by updating stock levels, recording material movements, and performing regular cycle counts. Issue parts and materials to the production floor based on work orders, material requests, and pick lists, ensuring timely support for manufacturing activities. Organize, label, and arrange stockroom items to ensure easy access, clear identification, and proper traceability. Pick, verify, and assemble components into complete production kits (kitting) according to work orders and production schedules. Cross-check assembled kits against bills of materials (BOMs) to confirm completeness and accuracy before delivery to production. Deliver complete and verified kits to the production floor in a timely manner to support continuous workflow. Communicate material shortages, discrepancies, and inventory issues promptly to supervisors or relevant stakeholders. Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock adjustments, to maintain accurate stock levels. Assist with packing and handling materials and components as needed to support stockroom and production operations. Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience working in a stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing environment. Experience handling inventory in a production or manufacturing setting; PCB or electronics experience is a plus. Knowledge of inventory control practices, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials. Ability to perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Proficiency in picking, packing, and kitting components for production. Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and pick lists. Familiarity with inventory control systems or ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Fishbowl. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records and production kits. Effective communication skills to report shortages, discrepancies, and inventory issues. Organizational skills to maintain a well-structured and clearly labeled stockroom.
Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in a PCB or electronics manufacturing environment is preferred. Comfort working with ERP or inventory management software systems. Ability to work collaboratively with production and supervisory teams. Reliability and punctuality to support a consistent first-shift schedule. Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and following established procedures.

Work Environment: This role operates on a first-shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in a manufacturing stockroom environment that supports PCB production. You work closely with production teams and interact regularly with inventory systems and ERP software. The environment is structured and process-driven, with an emphasis on accuracy, organization, and timely material flow to the production floor.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Suwanee, GA.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
