About the role
To provide legal guidance and support, the part-time Corporate Counsel Contractor will manage compliance issues, draft and review contracts, and advise on corporate governance matters in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
Managing compliance issues and ensuring adherence to legal standards
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to mitigate risks
Advising on corporate governance and regulatory matters
Required qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Experience in corporate law, contract negotiation, and compliance
Strong understanding of corporate governance principles
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
