Duration:
6-month W2 contract with potential extension/conversion Must-Have Skills
5+ years of MySQL DBA experience in Linux/Unix environments
Expert-level MySQL administration (5.6, 5.7, 8.0)
Strong experience with MySQL Replication, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery
Database performance tuning and production support
Backup and recovery experience (Percona/Xtra Backup)
SQL and Linux Shell scripting
2+ years of Dev Ops experience using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Git Lab, etc.
Experience with Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages
Experience supporting production and development database environments Requirements
5+ years managing database lifecycle operations
xsgimln Experience with MySQL patching and major version upgrades
Experience supporting Data Warehousing and ETL processing
Knowledge of cloud and virtualized environments (AWS, Azure, Open Stack, Proxmox preferred)
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
