About the role
Tooling Specialist Be able to use appropriate equipment to create and repair tooling. These duties are to be performed within quality and production standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Use of various equipment/tools to create and repair tooling, including, but not limited to, grinders, EDM, CNC, welding equipment, machining equipment, overhead cranes, etc.
Support stamping operations and troubleshoot production problems.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with various stamping operations preferred (e.g., transfer, progressive, blanking)
- Proficient reading blueprints and sketches.
- Follow all safety requirements of the company PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviors, etc.
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work any shift
Work Environment:
- Plant environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Regularly exposed to dust, grease/oil, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
