About the role
To support a growing specialized transportation company, the full-time Logistics Sales Representative will manage and grow an existing book of business while developing new shipper relationships, selling specialized transportation solutions, and negotiating contracts in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and expand client relationships while prospecting for new business through various outreach strategies
Sell specialized transportation solutions, including flatbed and heavy haul freight, while overseeing the entire sales process
Collaborate with the dispatch team to ensure effective load booking and execution, while tracking sales activities and forecastsRequired qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in transportation sales, freight brokerage, or logistics sales
Specialized transportation experience, particularly with flatbed, step deck, or heavy haul freight
Established relationships or a book of business in specialized shipper markets is highly desirable
Proven ability to generate new shipper relationships and drive revenue growth
Strong negotiation skills and a high level of integrity and accountability
